affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks

Body Doubling Groups

Need a little push to start or finish a task? Body doubling is a great tool for folks, particularly those with ADHD, to complete tasks.

This is a space for folks working from home to have virtual co-working time with others also needing the social connection and support. There will be two sessions available to join, one on Wednesdays and the other Fridays.

Wednesdays

1 pm central/ 2 pm eastern

This co-working session will take place via Zoom. Please register for access to the weekly link

Fridays

3:30 pm central / 4:30 pm eastern

There is no registration required to join this working session. Feel free to hop on to Twitch at the scheduled start time

How does body doubling work?

The process is as simple as finding a friend or colleague who can sit with you while trying to tackle something in your to-do list. That person could be engaging in a similar task or a completely different one; they’re there to be an extra presence of reassurance while you’re working.

In this group, just check-in at the start of the session and hang on the call as long as you need support

What can i work on during the session?

Bring whatever task you’re struggling to finish!

  • do some writing
  • fold some laundry
  • clear your inbox

If needed, we can help you identify a realistic goal for the working session
