my approach
I like to meet my client’s where they’re at — be it a place for emotional release and processing or a place to learn new skills to navigate life, I offer a nurturing and safe space for my clients to fill their needs each week.
my people
My clinical work specializes in working with BIPOC youth and adults struggling with chronic stress, trauma, and executive functioning. This work has allowed me to develop my experience working with various topics such as relationships, intersectionality, substance use, and anti-capitalism. I have had the pleasure of helping numerous individuals as they navigate their gender journeys, both in adolescence and through adulthood. I also often work with educators and academics, both graduate/PhD students and professors alike.

what I offer
Use 1:1 sessions to further explore yourself and navigate your unique life circumstances. More often than not, my work is about supporting clients seeking to understand themselves more thoroughly and trying to live more authentic lifestyles. This may look different for each individual as we take a closer look at the patterns they have set up for themselves, the external barriers they’re facing, and the generational loops they hope to unweave. Sometimes therapy with me is a classroom for new skills or habits to better take care of oneself, and sometimes therapy is a space to explore parts of yourself you can’t safely share with anyone else
Having worked with adolescents for several years, I have gained additional experience providing family therapy and parental support. More recently, I received my Gottman level 1 certificate in December 2022. My experience in family and couples therapy includes work with individuals in queer and polyamorous relationship dynamics
Gender affirming care letters are available for clients seeking documentation to support them in their pursuit of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or other gender affirming medical care. I am also available to provide assessments of readiness for others seeking letters of support
“sometimes the most healing thing we can do is remind ourselves over and over and over, other people feel this way too“
